What is "Tacoberfest"?
Tacoberfest is an an annual gathering of Toyota Tacoma owners from CustomTacos.com that began in the fall (October) of 2004. It began as a regional meet for east coast enthusiasts by CTzen Glassdoc in an effort to get all the CTzens he had met or conversed with together to hang out and enjoy the trucks, the chat and some good eats. It has since grown into one of the biggest and most talked-about organized site meets.
In 2008, Tacoberfest grew beyond the bounds of a regional meet. It was relocated to a more central location where members from all over the country could attend. The name "Tacoberfest" takes part of its name from the popular German festival "Oktoberfest" and part of its name from the Toyota truck that we all know and love: the Tacoma. How do I find out more?
